Lecture

Week 1

In the first week, Mr Martin briefed us about this module where we are introduced about what we will do in this module that is video and sound editing, After finish briefing session, we proceed to learn about using Adobe Premium Pro to arrange video clips into a full version of it as understanding the basic use of this software is essential as it will be use throughout all of our assignment in this module.

Week 2 

In week 2, we learn about framing and storyboard where we learn about the different shot sizes through a few videos that was shown to us such as, wide shot that is used to show location and medium shot is used for storytelling. After the lecture was concluded we formed 2 person team for shooting exercise about the different shots that was taught to us in the slide. As well as given a Premium Pro exercise that is edit a video with provided footages that is from the video story of Lalin.

Week 3

In Week 3, where Mr Martin taught us about storytelling in film that follow the 3-act structure that contains 3 parts, such as act 1 the setup, act 2 the confrontation and lastly act 3 the resolution.

REFLECTION

Experience

The experience that I have gain in the Video and Sound Production Module is that the wounder and excitement as to be able to learn about the method of how video and sound production work to produce film video and also storytelling. The first project that is given to me that is the audio editing exercise give me a first experience in editing sound and recording voices. 


Observation 

Throughout what I have observe in learning this video and sound production module is that the making and editing of the video and also sound. Where the project 1 Audio Dubbing did not touch much on video editing, but instated forces more on sound dubbing and editing, which give more insight on how the sound editing work in premium pro.


Findings

What I have found throughout Video and Sound Production module are that Project 1 Audio Dubbing give me more greater understanding on sound editing such as downloading audio from Freedsound website such as explosion, footstep, door and other audio sound for my project 1 Audio Dubbing.
